To build safer futures for young people, women, men, and communities through trauma‑informed education, accountability‑based programmes, and systems‑level change across the UK, Ghana, and internationally.
Roadmap
- Finalising programme frameworks and facilitator training for Youth Safe Futuresâ„¢, Own My Life, and Brotherhood Resetâ„¢.
- Establishing Safe Futures Ghana Initiative (SFGI) as a national model for GBV response and safeguarding.
- Developing partnerships with schools, community organisations, and government bodies for phased rollout.
- Building a digital ecosystem for learning, support, and programme delivery.
Strategic Collaboration
SFC is actively building a network of partners who share our commitment to safety, dignity, and systems change. Our collaboration priorities include:
- Working with schools, youth organisations, and community groups to pilot and scale programmes.
- Engaging government agencies and safeguarding bodies to strengthen national response pathways.
- Partnering with universities, researchers, and practitioners to embed evidence‑based practice.
- Creating international links through SFGI to support cross‑country learning and innovation.
Research & Publication
Agenda
SFC is developing a research and learning agenda that supports long‑term impact and sector growth. Our focus areas include:
- Publishing insights on trauma‑informed practice, youth development, and GBV response.
- Documenting programme outcomes and pilot learning to inform policy and practice.
- Contributing to national and international conversations on safeguarding, accountability, and community resilience.
- Producing accessible reports, briefs, and practitioner tools as programmes evolve.
